How long do I have to use a credit after purchase?

Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. Once you upload a block model, the 3- or 12-month access period starts, depending on what you purchased. If you do not upload within 12 months, the credit expires unused.

What counts as one block model?

Accepted Answer

Each credit is bound to one unique block model file for the life of that credit. Upload a different file, including a revised version of the same model, and it is a new block model on a new credit. Run unlimited scenarios on the model you uploaded: the credit covers variations in assumptions, not variations of the file. If you are unsure whether your model is ready, test the workflow on the demo first. Model revision cycles differ between firms. If you are not sure how yours maps to credits, book a call and we will work it through against your actual study.

What if my model is very large?

Cognomine reblocks automatically before the solve, so the size of your raw model does not set solve time and the constraint set is not trimmed. Raw block models up to around one million blocks are accepted, and every model is reduced to scheduling units before solving: under 100,000 in a standard run, up to 500,000 in High Fidelity, which is included in every credit and takes around an hour against under ten minutes for a standard run. If yours is larger than that, or sub-blocked at scale, tell us what you need and we will attempt it.

What happens at expiry?

You are notified 15 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry. You can export everything before the access period ends. A 3- or 12-month renewal can be purchased before expiry. Results are removed within 30 days after expiry, as a privacy protection.

Can I extend a credit after expiry?

Accepted Answer

No. Extensions are not sold separately. Customer data is removed within 30 days after expiry, as a privacy protection. If you need continued access, purchase a new 3- or 12-month credit before expiry.

Can I upload a client's block model?

That is the core use case. Client data stays in Australia, is encrypted in transit and at rest, is logically isolated to your account, and is removed within 30 days after your entitlement ends.

Can my whole team use a bundle?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A 5-credit bundle can be activated by up to 2 colleagues in addition to the buyer, so three people in total can activate credits from the shared pool. They must be personnel of your organisation or, if you are a consultancy, people working for you on the relevant client engagement. Access is not restricted to a single email domain. Each activated credit still binds to one block model under the standard rules.

Can colleagues or clients see my results?

Yes, and this applies to every credit, single or bundle. Each block model can be shared per-model: read-only with unlimited people, which suits client handover, or full run access with up to 2 additional authorised users, so three people working on that model in total. Those users must be personnel of your organisation or, if you are a consultancy, people working for you on that client engagement. Bundle activation is a separate thing: it decides who can spend credits from the pool, not who can see a result.

What does fair use mean?

Run as many scenarios as your study needs. There is no run quota on a credit. Fair use exists to stop automated bulk-run farming and attempts to work around the one-model-per-credit rule. It will never get in the way of genuine planning work. Platform safeguards such as concurrent-run limits apply equally to everyone.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your organisation's first purchase of a credit or bundle comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee, running from payment or, where we activate the credit before payment under a quotation, from activation, whichever comes first. A bundle counts as a single purchase. The guarantee does not apply to later purchases. It sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

One strategic plan, free, on your own block model. You book an hour with Donny, who built the solver. He imports the model with you and shares it to you, and for 14 days you run whatever scenarios you want, High Fidelity and exports included. At the end we hold a 30-minute readout. It is not the demo on synthetic data; it is your orebody.

How is it different from a credit?

Same product, shorter and narrower terms. A credit gives you 3 or 12 months on the model, two additional users, read-only sharing with unlimited people, and results you can use however you like. A first plan gives you 14 days, one user, no onward sharing, and results for evaluation only.

What happens on day 14?

Accepted Answer

Access ends. Your model and outputs are removed on the same schedule as a credit, within 30 days, unless you have bought a credit. Buy within 14 days of the readout and we import the model into your credit for you, so you do not start again.

Does a first plan use up my money-back guarantee?

Accepted Answer

No. The guarantee applies to your organisation's first purchase, and a first plan is not a purchase. Your first credit still has the 7-day guarantee.

Can I bring a client's block model?

Yes, under the same handling as a credit: kept in Australia, encrypted, isolated, removed after access ends. You are responsible for having the right to upload it.
